Course 2: Strategy analysis
In course 2 Strategy analysis, we examine why organizations develop strategies, the internal and external factors that may drive the development of strategy, the various challenges involved, and the different approaches that can be taken.
We also considered the execution of strategy, and the measurement of its effectiveness through techniques such as the balanced business scorecard (BBS), critical success factors (CSFs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- Understand what strategy is and why it is important (the assumption being that strategy is important)
- Explore some ideas about how strategy is developed
- Implementing strategy
- Working out what all this means for business analysis
