Course 4: Stakeholder analysis and management
In course 4 we consider the importance of identifying stakeholders, understanding their level of influence and interest in the project (stakeholder mapping), different strategies for managing them, and the various attitudes to a project that different stakeholders might adopt.
We also look at how different stakeholder perspectives might be captured and modelled (as part of soft systems methodology) using the business activity modelling approach.
This approach allows the business analyst to model the ‘as is’ state of a business system as a basis for identifying improvement opportunities.
Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- Road map to the BCS international diploma in business analysis
- BCS Foundation certificate
- Course agenda for the Stakeholder analysis and management course
