5. The Science Behind CAP Training



This course has been developed to educate you about the science behind CAP exercises and how they have been designed for optimal carryover for different sports.


This is an one-hour online course.


Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Recognize how the muscles work to stabilize the head
  • Identify the role of each exercise for concussion prevention
  • Explain how various types of strength work separately and in concert when an impact occurs and
  • Describe how healing occurs and how to prevent long-term injuries
