Course 8: Delivering the Requirements and Business Solution

In course 8 we look at the delivery of the solution is the culmination of a long process. Successful delivery depends on the effective application of many of the techniques covered in our earlier courses (1 to 7), but there are many other factors which will influence the success (or failure) of project delivery.

The business change life cycle introduced in course 1 – Introduction to business analysis, forms a backdrop to any business change project. We provide a reprise of this model in course 8 as it forms an important basis for the discussion of the BA’s role in design, implementation and realization (of business benefits).

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

• Introduce different approaches to solution delivery
• Introduce the concept of the software development development lifecycle and different approaches to software development
• Consider the business analyst’s role in the design and implementation of solutions
